FAQs
What is the processing time for handmade goodies?
Please allow us at least 1-2 weeks to put our blood, sweat, and tears into making your goodies as all handmade goodies are pre-orders. However, we strive to get your goodies out as soon as possible! If there are any delays, we will let you know immediately!
What is an SVG?
SVG, short for Scalable Vector Graphic, is an image file type or file format that is vector based. Unlike pixel based raster files such as JPEGs and PNGs, vector files store images via mathematical formulas based on points and lines on a grid which means that you can resize an SVG to any size without it being blurry or pixelated. SVGs are the preferred file format for working with Cricut Design Space and other cutting machine/design software.
What is a PNG?
PNG, short for Portable Network Graphics, is a high-quality image file type or file format that is pixel based raster and is “lossless,” or has “lossless compression,” meaning they have a fixed number of pixels and do not lose any quality when they are compressed. PNGs also support transparent backgrounds, can handle high-contrast graphics, and unlike other formats like JPEG, you won’t lose quality each time you reopen and save it.
What’s the difference between SVG and PNG files?
SVGs are vector files whereas PNGs are raster files. If you scale a PNG file too large or too small, it becomes blurry and pixelated. SVGs don’t contain any pixels, so they’ll never lose resolution when scaling.
Why is my SVG showing as HTML?
Don’t Panic! SVG files might show as HTML files depending on your computer settings. If there is no suitable program selected as default or installed to view or edit SVGs then you will see the SVG file as an HTML file but it will still work as it should when uploaded onto your software (Design Space, Silhouette Studio, etc.)
